INSTRUCTION MANUAL OF LUCKY COLOR PAPER SA-3

　　Lucky color SA-3 is the improved product from Lucky SA-2. It’s suitable for high temperature rapid-access processes.
　　Printing from LUCKY color negative film or other similar negatives, this paper will result in high quality color, abundant gradation photographs; Also, due to the elimination of reciprocity failure, this paper can be used as professional color enlarging paper.

MARK:

　　On paper back, there are printed words “Professional COLOR PAPER”.
On packages, there are such printed words and data as Lucky trade mark, “LUCKY COLOR PAPER”, type, size, emulsion number, guaranty period and manufacturer, etc.

STORAGE:

　　The paper must be kept in the intact original packages in dry, cool, shade, dust-free places and from radiation and harmful chemical gases, because high temperature, high humidity, radiation, chemical gas all have adverse effects on the photographic and physical properties of the paper.
　　The general recommendatory storage temperature is below 13°c, and relative humidity is below 65%. Don’t keep the paper and developing chemicals in the same room.

USAGE

　　The paper stored at low temperature should be conditioned at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours before opening to avoid condensation on paper surface and degradation of the paper.
The operation environment must be clean. The suitable working temperature is (18-24)°c and relative humidity is (50-65) %. This paper should be handled carefully and avoid finger prints, oil pollution. The photographic properties of paper may change due to aging, therefore, the paper should be used in guaranty period. The exposed paper should be processed as soon as possible, and the unexposed paper must be stored in original package.

PERFORMANCE AND CHARACTERISTIC:

4.Wide exposure range, can be used conveniently with success.
5.Strong adaptability to Over and Under negatives.
6.Good picture stability, the printed picture can be stored for a long period.
7.Can be enlarged to any size.
8.Good adaptability to processing chemicals. Satisfactory picture can be obtained if processed by RA-4 or other similar chemicals.
The data and curves offered by this manual are results of standard exposure, processing and inspection instruments. They only represent general performance of common paper.
They don’t directly apply to any certain carton or roll of paper.

SAFELIGHT:

　　Generally, this paper must be handled in totally-dark room. If necessary, it can be handled briefly under yellow-brown safelights made up of Lucky Safelight Filter LZ-4 or Kodak Safelight Filter No.8 or other equivalent safelight filters which has transmitting range of 570-620nm with peak at 590nm.

PROCESSING

　　This paper is designed for processing with Lucky SA-1, Kodak RA-4 or other equivalent chemicals. The results obtained would be all satisfactory.
　　As the improved product from Lucky SA-2, Lucky SA-3 color paper is the latest product developed by Lucky corp.It can be used as both printing and enlarging paper and is suitable for high temperature rapid-access processes such as RA-4 or other equivalent processing chemicals.
　　Lucky SA-3 color paper adopts new crystallization technology and improved the design of emulsion. Also, the mixed crystal and new chemical and spectrum sensitization technologies are applied to the emulsion surface. The sensitization center has been properly disposed. The coating and adding formula have been improved. Especially, owing to the improvement of reciprocity failure characteristic, the quality of this paper has been highly improved and it can be used as both enlarging and printing paper.
